Embrace, an American Baptist Church, is a community of believers who act in faith and unapologetically love God, our city, and our world. Our mission is to extend unrelenting love to everyone. And while we are not perfect, we understand the importance of putting God first while seeking to live lives that please Him and point people to Him. Embrace blends modern and liturgical service styles to create unique, Christ centered, Holy Spirit empowered worship services.

Who We Are
We are a community of believers who act in faith and unapologetically love God, our city and our world. As a church we maintain a posture of learning. However, we will not bend on our Core Values. We understand the importance of putting God first in all aspects of our life. Though we are not perfect, we seek to live a life that pleases God and points people to Him.
What To Expect
We place a very high value on creating Christ centered services that openly celebrate Jesus. We desire to present the gospel message in a relevant and exciting way while keeping the focus on Jesus. We offer age appropriate ministry for children. Our services are one hour and include worship, teaching and communion.
Why We Exist
Our mission to extend unrelenting love to everyone. We will not cater to personal preference in our mission to reach people. We will actively defend our unity and our mission to reach people far from God. Our church goes above and beyond to give sacrificially to see people come to know the love of Christ
Core Values
We believe in one God, the Father, maker of heaven and earth. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ the only Son of God. We believe in one Spirit, the Holy Spirit sent to empower and encourage believers to do God’s work. While we will always have questions about God, the Church, and our own faith, we have two foundational creeds: the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed

Leadership
Lead Pastor: David Huff
In 2020 Pastor David and family moved to Evansville, IN to pastor Embrace Church. He and his wife Margie have been married since 2002 and have three children, Roman, Jude and Estella.
Pastor David has been in full time ministry for over 20 years in various churches in Kentucky and Tennessee. He has a Masters in Theology Degree from Liberty University.
Margie loves ministering alongside Pastor David. She is an FNP with Deaconess Health Systems.
David, Margie and their family are proud to call Evansville their home. They invite you to come with them on this adventure. It may not always be familiar or comfortable but it will be exciting because they believe God is doing incredible things in and through Embrace Church.
